The North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) has many resources specific to healthcare providers that care for children with GI conditions. They are APGNN's parent organization. 


The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) has several resources and educational opportunities for pediatric nurse practitioners. APGNN Members also receive a 20% dual membership when they join NAPNAP.


The Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN) also offers a variety of resources for pediatric nurses, including hosting the APGNN Pediatric GI Nursing Certificate Program (link). APGNN Members also receive a 20% dual membership when they join SPN.

The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) has developed the “NOVEL” Project: New Opportunities for Verification of Enteral Tube Location Project. It was launched to address best practices in verification of pediatric nasogastric feeding tubes. The NOVEL Project task force has created two audience-specific videos highlighting best practices for inserting and verifying the placement of NG tubes in pediatric patients.
